Leon´s strategic location and transportation options ensure a smooth and efficient arrival experience.

  • Arrival by Air (Recommended): The most convenient way to reach León from abroad is by flying into Del Bajío International Airport (BJX), located in Silao, approximately 25-30 minutes from León. BJX serves as the main gateway to the region and offers both international and domestic connections.

  • Direct International Flights BJX receives nonstop flights primarily from the United States, including cities such as Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Fresno, Sacramento, Ontario, and Houston-Intercontinental. Several Mexican airlines operate this route with one stop or direct seasonal connections. The total travel time, including connection, typically ranges between 3.5 and 5 hours, depending on the itinerary.

  • Transportation from the Airport Upon arrival at BJX, visitors may choose from Authorizes airport taxi services.
