Poster Presentation Information

Find the date and time of your  poster presentation session in the scientific program. 

You must install your poster in the auditorium lobby on the day of your assigned session, from 10:00 am to  at least 30 minutes before the session begins. The poster must be removed on the same day at the end of the session.

Instructions for Poster Preparation

Poster Content

The poster structure must follow the same organization as the submitted abstract.

The following sections should then be included:

​

  • Title: 

Maternal Exposures and Developmental Programming Across the Life Course: A DOHaD Approach​

  • Authors: Full names of all authors without academic titles. The presenting authors should be underlines. (The name will appear in the certificate exactly as submitted in the abstract system).

Surname Name¹, Surname Name², Surname Name³

  • Affiliations:

¹Department/Institute, University Name, City, Country

²Faculty/Research Centre, Institution Name, City, Country

³Hospital/Programme, Institution Name, City, Country

  • Presenting author e-mail

  • Background/aims:​

Include a short introduction and main objetive.

  • Methods:

Include methods and the ethics committee approval number.

  • Results:

Include a summary of the results

  • Conclusions:

Include the conclusions based on the results.

  • Funding:

Insert funding information or "Not applicable".

  • Keywords:

Include up to 5 keywords.

Format Requirements

  • Posters must be printed in portrait (vertical) format.

  • The poster must consist of a single printed page.

  • Dimensions must be 0.90 meters wide x 1.20 meters high (90 cm x 120 cm)

Desing Recommendations

  • Use color combinations that enhance text readability

  • Avoid using background images.

  • A front size larger than 14 points is recommended for better legibility.

  • To improve clarity, scientific information should be presented using:

Graphs

Tables

 

These visual elements facilite quick and easy interpretation of results.

​

Mandatory information

The poster must include:

  • Abstract/Submission ID (Folio Number)

  • Title

  • Authors

  • Institution

​

These details must match the information provide in the submitted abstract.

​

Patient Confidentiality

Ensure that no information capable of identifying a patient is visible in the poster.

Poster Session Attendance

Authors must remain with their posters during the complete assigned poster session.

Posters will be evaluated by a designated review committee, and attendees may ask questions about the work.

5-Minute Poster Presentation

During the presentation, you should:

1. Introduce yourself.

2. Briefly explain the background and purpose of your research.

3. Summarize the methods used.

4. Present the key findings.

5. Highlight the significance and relevance of your work.

Instructions for oral presentations

Check the date and time of your oral presentation within the Oral sessions or the Symposia in the Scientific Program.

 

•The presentation should last 8 minutes, followed by 2 minutes for questions and answers.

 

•To avoid technical issues, please provide your presentation file compatible with PC in a USB drive to the technical staff 30 minutes before your session begins.
