Call for Symposia

To help us shape the program, we ask that all proposals are aligned with the meeting’s seven DOHaD thematic axes, ensuring they address key areas of interest and relevance. This is a unique opportunity to engage with international peers on cutting-edge research and advancements in developmental origins of health and disease. Your contributions will be invaluable in fostering meaningful discussions and collaborations that advance our shared goals. Thanks to the efforts from the LA-DOHaD/RICM joint meeting organizers, Symposia speakers and coordinators will be exempt from paying the registration fee.

• Each Symposium must consist of one coordinator and three speakers. Each speaker will give a 20-minute talk, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session (total duration: 75 minutes). Participants are required to be at least from two or more different countries. 

• We encourage proposals that bring together experts from diverse disciplines and backgrounds to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and advance understanding of complex topics related to our thematic axes. We highly recommend gender-balanced speaker panels. 

• Proposals must be sent by May 15th, 2026 to ladohadmeeting2026@outlook.com with the information in the Symposium proposal form.
